MUGA’a, Skate Park and BMX track lit with 8mt columns and 400w asymmetric lights. Half of the lights on each area switch off at 21.25pm and the other half switch off at 22.30pm to give safe access from the three areas.
Small MUGA lit in Glocs. 4 x 6mt columns and 8 x 250w metal halide asymmetric lights. Not LED’s, as this would cause so much glare. Travelled up early am, home 5pm. Not bad for a days work. MUGA’s are installed on many new housing estates.
18mt static column just installed today to take 10 x 2kw projection beam lights. This column will be installed for approx 1 yr until the new stand is erected. Then the lights will go back on to the new stand. All of the installation done to perfection by Sports Lighting and crane crew.
Complete refit of all new heads. Static columns, so had to use a little cherry picker !!. Tavistock College have a large running track and a 3G pitch. All old lights have corroded over the years. Large concrete foundation gone in for the temporary 18mt column. Concrete pad 2.5mt Sq x 1.5mt deep. Now to take down all the lights on the stand and fit on the new 18mt column.
8 new 2kw lights to be installed on the Big Bank roof, which will be permanent. All old lights coming off the old stand which will be demolished and a temporary 18mt Column will be erected with 10 existing lights in the away end corner. We should still hit the 500 lux level.
